Nobel Prize Winner Marie (madame) Curie 1917 Wwi Signed Red Cross Certificate

Up for sale is an etremely rare find with excellent provenance! This is an Original WWI 1917 Red Cross Radiology Training Certificate presented to Dr. Esther E. Parker by Marie "Madame" Currie two-time Nobel Prize winner and arguably one of the most decorated and influential women in the world to date.. It is hand signed by Curie herself (see pic). The training was conducted at the Edith Cavell Hospital where Curie had a laboratory from 1914-1919.Only a total of 43U.S Women Physicians weresent into foreign medical service by the American Red Cross with some going to France and other countries.. Dr. Esther Emily Parker (Ithaca, N.Y) was one of the few sent to France totrain and serve under Madame Curie (see documentation pics). Upon completion of her training at Edith Cavell Hospital, Parker would later be placed in charge of X-ray workat the American Red Cross Hospital in Evian (Switzerland).. This certificate has remained inDr. Parker's relatives hands and I have included copies of excellent referrences (see photos) which substantiate its origins. I will also include the original Cornell University framed graduate photo of Dr. Esther Parkershown in photo.Marie Curie's signature is correct and original on certificate. A phenominal collectible combining the interests of the Sciences with WWI committment (not to mention Nobel prize recipients!)Condition is good with no tears ormissing pieces. One pea-size discoloration off to the right upper corner region (see pic). Document is in original frame with glass front. Measures approx. 11 3/4" x 8 1/2" framed. ALL file copiesalong with Dr.Parker'sframed original Cornellphotograph shown with this listing will be forwarded as well to the winner. PLEASE NOTE: This "sale is final" due to the fact I am helping the relatives of the Parker's liquidate family items and returns only complicate things when dispersing monies to them from sale.My exceptional response and long term association coupled with all that I have provided here should leave little doubt.. Of course if you have any further questions by all means ask them prior to offerding.Thank you
