VINTAGE PIGS, WEDDING COUPLE - NODDER SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS - BOBBLEHEAD - RARE and in EXCELLENT CONDITION!!
This is an absolutely adorable handcrafted ceramic Wedding Pigs,Salt and Pepper Shaker Set! Made in Japan in 1980 by Fitz and Floyd. The original labels and plugs are still intact on the pieces. They are \"nodders\" and part of a 3 piece set. The condition is absolutely excellent there are no chips, cracks, or crazes at all. The lady pig is the Salt Shaker and has two shaker holes behind her bow. The man pig is the Pepper Shaker and has three shaker holes on the top of his hat. The words Salt and Pepper are carved into the ceramic.
This is, no doubt, a very rare piece and a must have for any collectors set! In the book titled, \"1002 Salt and Pepper Shakers\", published in 1995, on pg 17 they are valued between $300-$325.
