A wonderful and picturesque landscape by Norman Rockwell in a hand-signed and numbered limited edition lithograph print:

"UNDER SAIL" aka "THE LURE OF THE SEA" or "BOY ON A WEATHERVANE"

The Saturday Evening Post Cover - October 20, 1934

Professionally matted and framed, this original lithograph is #137 of 200. The frame has several small nicks and scuffs but is still sound, and the print itself is in wonderful condition, with bright warm colors and no signs of deterioration. Affixed to the back of the frame is a piece of carboard, as well as a Certificate of Authenticity from the Robert Sills Gallery in North Hollywood, California. Please see photographs to judge condition for yourself! (Pictures were taken in natural light, out of doors on a mostly overcast day.)

Frame measures 27.4" x 33" while the print, estimated using the innermost border of the beigematting, measures approximately 17" x 22.5".

CERTIFIED & ENCAPSULATED COINS:

WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS ON COINS THAT HAVE BEENSEALED/ENCAPSULATED BY RESPECTABLE GRADING COMPANIES. THESE INCLUDE: PCGS, NGC, NCS,ANACS, ICG, GSA. ANDGOVERNMENT MINTS (US MINT, ROYAL CANADIAN MINT, ETC). We cannot promise or guarantee what any grading service will (or will not) grade any given un-certified coin. Grading is a scientific art, practiced by regular people, so opinions may differ from one individual grader to another.

Regarding coins certified as "GENUINE" by PCGS: Instead of "body-bagging" (refusing to encapsulate) genuine rare coins that they feel have problems, PCGS now slabs such coins as "GENUINE" and uses a number (92,97 etc) in the barcode to note the issue that they perceive makes the coin ungradable. The "FAQ" page at PCGS . comlists all of this information, for those interested. This service is valuable for authenticating coins such as 1909-S V.D.B. Lincoln Cents or 1916-D Mercury Dimes (which are often counterfeited, and genuine examples commonly cleaned or damaged). However, as anyone who has tried to certify coins with PCGS or NGC can tell, the graders are not above making mistakes or "having a bad day" or even changing their minds! Opinions of experts can vary widely and it is hardly unusual for grades to "change" between submissions (especially on copper coins!). Sometimes we agree with PCGS, sometimes we don't, but we are all human and make judgements based on our knowledge and experience! You, as a buyer, exercise the same privilege--so please use your judgement when making a purchase.
