Northwood Cranberry Opalescent Ribbed "christmas Snowflake" Tumbler Late 1800 For Sale
NORTHWOOD CRANBERRY OPALESCENTRIBBED TUMBLER"Christmas SNOWFLAKE" From Northwood comes this beautiful, antique, cranberry opalescent ribbed tumbler that is from the late 1880s. This tumbler is decorated in the "Christmas Snowflake Pattern. Delicate Opalescent Snowflakes & Dots decorate the ribbed body of this piece with a lattice design beginning about an inch from the bottom. The lattice creates a delicate snowflake on the bottom of the tumbler. The top diameter of this tumbler measures about 2.75" & stands about 3.75" high. This bowl was purchased at an Estate Sale in NorthEastern Oklahoma about 15 years ago. The owner of this Estate had an extensive collection of Art Glass, mostly Cranberry, with many exquisite pieces. The condition of the piece is very good with only one tiny nick in the outside rim & 3 very tiny black dots, probably ash, on the bottom. The glass is very clear with no film or residue & the pattern is straight & almost perfectly centered. Please study photos carefully for condition issues & email any question you may have.
