All Carnival Glassfrom the Golden Age of Carnival (1907-1930) is Iridescent Pressed Glass made in the United States (except where noted), to compete with other American & European High-end Glass Firms. Each Individual Piece was Poured, Tooled, Shaped and Colored by Hand. When the Great Depression hit,the "Pretty Glass"fell out of favor and could no longer be afforded by the General Public. Withthe Factories full of glass,they were eventually given away as Prizes at Carnivals and State Fairs. Carnival Glass is Pure, Classic Americana. No TwoPieces Are Ever The Same.
Color: Marigold & Blasting with HotPurple, Pink, Molten Copper & Gold, with Icey Blue & Lime Green Iridescent Highlights. The Shimmering Satin Iridescence is Crisp and Pronounced and the Finish is Even throughout the Exterior (One Side is Pumpkin, the Other, Standard Marigold). Interior Color is Lovely, as is the Lid.
