Nancy Reagan White House Letterhead 1984 Framed Personal Letter Of Thanks:
This is a letter dated Feb. 27, 1984 written to someone who headed a foundation to benefit needy children, who Mrs. Reagan had visited with in New York City for an event. It expresses her gratitude for what the foundation does to help children and seems very heartfelt, not just a form letter. The letterhead has an embossed Presidential seal above where it says "The White House".It is framed in a metal frame with glass and a gold board showing on the rear of the frame. There is a slight stain on the upper right side of the letter, and there are small gaps on the bottom of the frame where the ends don't quite meet. I think this can be easily adjusted.Frame is 9 3/4" L X 6 3/4" W x 1/2" H.The item is from an estate sale so I don't know anything about it other than what you read in the letter. There were several other pictures of Nancy Reagan on the walls of this estate, which were not official photos so it seems she had a relationship with this individual beyond the one event mentioned in the letter. He was apparently an important and well to do person who had other presidential signatures in the office area of the estate. This is a very nice addition to any collection of Ronald and Nancy Reagan memorabilia!
