Many of the course mapshaveinteresting legends of how the holesplayed during an event while others showby thecourse map, howthearchitect was able to position each hole with what obstacles existed.. All the maps are in color and are approx 17\" wide by 11\" tall -THE MAPS ARE UN FRAMED and are printed on good quality paper.

The National Golf Links of America course map is perhaps the most interesting in that it was included in a book as a fold out- shown in a picutre above, Scotland\'s Gift Golf-1928,which was written by Mr Charles Blair MacDonald,the course architect of The National and many other great venues, such as Mid Ocean-and Yale. This course map is larger than most approx 22\" by 14\" or so and is an exactcopy of the map that is attached in the rear of the 1928 book.
