I\'m offering for your consideration a very old, probably turn of the century, Navajo ring, all hand constructed and stunning. The shank is chisel split in three near the front for stability. The oval shaped turquoise is plain bezel set, framed on both sides in chisel cut wire. The ring shows considerable wear, was greatly loved and can be worn for many more generations. The stone is about 1-1/8\" long and almost 3/4\" wide. The face is about 1-1/8\" long and about 1\" wide, including the chisel cut wires. Ring size is 11.75. It is unsigned for silver content, and is at least coin silver. There are some trader marks etched on the underside of the ring, one group is CRD, the other is too hard to read. It\'s typical of those times that pieces usually were not signed for silver content and also not signed by the artist. This piece is suitable for the best of collections. These genuinely old rings that are so beautiful are quite rare and also quite valuable.
