VINTAGE Gold and White Limoges Ashtray that is in NEAR MINT CONDITION. As many, I was so lucky to have a mother I adored in my life who shared so much with me. We loved antiquing and SHE WAS A COLLECTOR! Everything made her happy. In the 13 years since she is gone, I have kept her things in the same condition they were when she cherished them.But if I don\'t start to part with some, you\'ll soon see me on that HOARDERS show. I am painstakingly researching her pieces and slowly listing some.This Limoges ashtray she never used but admired often.The pictures should give you a good idea of the Near Mint condition of this piece! it is not camera trickery, this looks almost as new as day it was made save for one spec of gilt gold on one side (only) of rim that is worn off and incredibly small flecks that might be visible with magnifier . Markings: Exclusivite Chamart Limoges-FranceCondition: The Gold is unbelievably pristine everywhere. So shiny it almost looks new. There is barely any wear on the reverse side as it sat in break front only to be moved to be dusted. There is one spot as big as a pen point on on side of the rim where gold seems worn. Otherwise very minor wear on any of the gold.
Size: Approx 6” across / 7\" diagonallyIt is a timeless design that is understated and could even be used in a modern home. The white is pristine. The gold decoration sedate and tasteful. Garland around edges, wreath of garland in center smaller wreaths around center one.It is lovely and wish it to go to a home where it will bring the good karma it enjoyed all those years with mom.I ship within 24 hours after payment received to US ONLY. (Except Sunday - girl\'s gotta rest !) I pack with great care and concern and will make sure this item is received in the pristine condition I sent it in!
