My mom bought this doll \"on sale\" for $70 in April 1999.

Never displayed, it was kept in a storage box in her

climate-controlled doll closet, since shortly after purchase.

Condition: This doll was kept in a storage box in a climate-controlled doll closet since shortly after purchase in Apr. 1999. Part of my late mother\'s collection. The doll has never been removed from its box. There isa tiny spot of some sort on Barbie\'s neck (photo 4 on right, between jawline & shadow of shawl on neck; maybe a reaction to the jewelry???); otherwise, contents appear perfect as new. Jewelry looks like it could use a bit of polishing. I\'ll include fresh rubber bands for her hair.

Box is in good to very good condition, &shows some storage/shelf wear -- mainly on the bottom & corner tips; the window has some scratches.All sides of the box are shown in the photos. Last 4 box photos show the lid\'s sides over the corresponding sidesof the (bottom) doll box.

History: I am selling my late mother\'s doll collection. She had thousands, mostly Barbies, & was a UFDC member. I have been selling her dolls on since 2011, & it looks like there are a few more years of it ahead. Almost all of her dolls were packed away in boxes in a climate-controlled doll closet soon after purchase. Relatively few were displayed. I\'m spending a lot of time with each doll, writing detailed descriptions, including flaws, & taking lots of photos.As the last surviving member of my family, I have boxes & boxes of things collected & accumulated by my parents, sister, & grandparents.
