This is a first edition figurine and one of only 5,000 from 1990. He might be the beginning of your collection or perhaps an addition to one you\'ve already begun. These miniature figurines are started from a plaster mold using the ancient lost wax process. Over 50 steps later the finished bronze product emerges. The artwork including sculpting and painting is extremely beautiful and detailed which makes the Olszewski miniatures by GOEBEL so highly prized.
