For offer is an antique Emerson Fan type 29646. The restoration on this fan including breaking down each component, stripping the paint and rust, body work, priming, painting, clear coating, wet sanding, and buffing out to a crisp finish. The brass components were buffed and polished. Most of the fan is completely original. The nuts and cap nuts on the front are solid brass replacements, and the cords have been replaced with modern cotton covered wire. The brass pin thing that attaches to the collar (I'm sorry I am not sure what its called!) was broken off in shipping when I purchased the fan so it is not attached. I still have it though and can include it in your purchase. Also missing is the back grommet (I think that is the proper term) that the wiring goes in (this is why I put the new wire in a different hole to avoid damage from pulling on the wire). I lubed up the main components and the fan runs very well. Please enjoy this video to see it in action.
The images should provide a more than fair description of the fan's condition. The base of the fan has some little dot pitting you can see in at least one of the pictures. Please feel free to ask me any questions or give me comments, I appreciate your response and interest. Thanks!
