Newspaper Clipping-Picture of Human Replica of Liberty Bell at Camp. Dix-1918
This is a newspaper clipping from The Sun newspaper from Sunday, July 21, 1918. This clipping has a picture of the twenty-five thousand men and officers that made a human replica of the Liberty Bell at Camp Dix, Wrightstown.
The other side of this clipping has the two articles about the War’s waste of the British ammunition and soldiers marching through the village of Belleau. It also includes the following advertisements: Hotel Belleclaire, Sheppard Knapp Son Co. Inc, X-Bazin, and Russek’s.
This clipping does show typical signs of aging, such as small rips along the edge of on a small portion of the bend in the middle. This also has typical coloration of aging. However, this is truly a beautiful piece of our history and would look wonderful framed!
