Nice 1800's Gar Civil War Painted Canteen W/ Eagle Louisville 29th Encampment


Offered is a Civil War Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Painted canteen.

GUARANTEED ALL ORIGINAL - Nice condition and patina.

An original circa 1895 canteen, tin with original painted/stenciled decoration/inscription "We Drank From The Same Canteen" in arched letters above a U.S. shield breasted spread winged eagle with E Pluribus Unum ribbon banner in beak, arrows & laurel branches in talons and straight-line inscription Louisville / 1861-1895 at bottom. Measures approx: 5" diameter.
