Up for sale is a nice old early 1900s full size 2 pc back French made violin setup and ready to play.The nicely figured 2 pc. curly maple back measures 14 by 8 1/8 inches. The violin is lined and has 4 corner blocks. There are no bassbar or soundpost nor any other cracks on the violin. The scroll and pegbox are in fine shape and the neck is solid. The pegs are rosewood and turn smoothly. The fingerboard is ebony and in new condition. The soundpost is standing and there are no open seams. The violin was made in the early 1900s in Mirecourt France by the JTL company and is labelled as a \"Lutherie Artistique Francaise Acoulon & Blondelet Luthiers 68 bis Rue Reaumur Paris 1913 Gand\" Membre Du Jury 1900 Paris 1919 Strasbourg Hors Concours 1922 Rio De Janeiro Gand\". It is also labeled \"Made in France\" and \"Sarasate El apres Nicolaus Amatus etc.\" It is branded on the button on the back \"Sarasate El\" (please check pics). The violin is setup and ready to play. There are a few small scratches on the top bout (please check pics). It is setup with NOS Pirastro Tonica strings. Please check pics. and email questions.
