I acquired this tin at a farm sale around 10 years ago. I'm not 100% convinced on it's authenticity, but it was claimed to be and sold to me as an original. Let's just say that the "environment" I found it in would make me think it's original, but some of the steel is a littleshiny,however, under the right conditions I think that would be possible. The metal is definitely rock hard, and the can appears to be older than anything manufactured these days. I'm not able to get the top off to inspect the inside of the can...it's rusted on. It could probably be carefully opened with a screw driver, but I don't want to attempt that.So, when offerding on this, use your own judgement. The graphics are quite clear and in good condition. This is a nice addition to any black Americana collection, and it's definitely a "not politically correct" conversation starter.
