One swan head has very minor flake but does not in any way take away from the beauty of this impressive \"Large\" vase. Made in Japan. EXCELLENT ITEM! MEASURES: 12\" x 6 1/2\". Sometimes pieces of clay were shaped by hand and applied to the item; sometimes the clay was squeezed from a tube in the way we apply cake frosting. One type of moriage is called Dragonware by collectors.
