43\" tallEAGLE / Featherwall panel, hand carved by the First Nation Artist Gilbert Grant, hand painted by Tammy Sampson, dated 2010, solid cedar wood

Really excellent craftsmanship!!! VERY detailed cuts, clean painting. It\'s made for wall hanging (not carved at the back).

Measurements: 43\" x 7 1/2\" x 1 1/2\" (ca. 109 x 19 x 4 cm)

The Artist: Gilbert Grant is a member of the Musqueam First Nation, as is Tammy Sampson who painted this piece. The Musqueam are the oldest-known residents of Vancouver. The GreatFraser Midden is an ancient Musqueam village and burial site located in theMarpoleneighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia. Musqueam\'sancestors, the Coast Salish, have lived in the Fraser Riverestuary for thousands of years.
