What is a TIUR you ask....Well it looks like a Turkey, but is actually a Western Capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus), also known as the Wood Grouse, Heather Cock or Capercaillie, is the largest member of the grouse family. Found across Europe and Asia, it is renowned for its mating display. These spoons would make great Coffee orDainty Dessert Spoons at Thanksgiving or Christmas as the Tiur looks so much like an American Turkey.

The pieces is Solid Silver. 830 parts of 1000 parts Pure Silver. For reference Sterling is 925 parts of 1000 parts Pure Silver.
The plain part of the spoon handle on the front appears to have a hand hammered effect.

They are Estate pieces in fine condition. Little or no scratches. Polished to high shine. The picture does not do them justice. They are silver, not the gray color captured by the camera.
