Early twentieth century Norwegian sterling silver and guilloché enamel stone top thimble by Norwegian silversmith Nils Erik Elvik (b.1853 - d.1935). Marked under the crown with 925 S (the sterling standard mark) and Nils Erik Elvik's maker's mark - NE in a horse shoe. The thimble is in round and free of holes and dents and there is no damage to the pink enamel body. Sadly, the green glass crown is chipped as you can see in the pictures below. Height approx. 2.4 cm; diameter approx. 1.6 cm; weight 9.3 grams.
