This sale is for an original c. 1903 figural vesta matchsafe of a silver plated brass canine tooth with decoration swirls to both the front and back, and to the top surmounted a standing detailed elephant with his tusk upwards for good luck!

The lid opens and closes well with a very good snap shut, and generally in very good condition for age, the plating still very good, just light surface scratches as you would expect.
Underneath the hinge is a small ring and suspension ringThe striker is literally underneath that.
Measures approx. 8 cms tall.
