An amazing piece of Navajo craftsmanship.
WOW! What an incredible eye catching stone! It is huge! Perfect condition. Lotsof matrix and contrasting solor in it. I have never seen one like it. PerfectTortoise turquoisestone!No chips, no cracks and secure! The stone is 2&1/4" x 1&7/16" alone. With setting the cuff is 2&1/2" wide.
Beautifully hand tooled designs of Native American Indian symbols tooled onto sterling plates aside the huge stone. The cuff is an 8 twist wire band. It is 112/16" wide. It weighs 65 grams.It is unsigned. It is sterling silver, guaranteed!
Notice the scalloped edges. They bring out the sun rays and add a cut in symbol of the mountain range. Very sweet!
As you can see from the above photos, the setting has had a home repair done to it. The setting came loose and the prior owner used silver colored jewelry epoxy to secure the stone to the cuff. It worked! The stone is definitely secured to the cuff band. The epoxy is not noticeable unless you flip the cuff over and look at the back side. It can be seen a little if you look closely to the undersides of the setting. It definitely does not take away from the beauty of this piece.
The cuff is both signed and stamped;"Sterling". The artist is unknown. The symbols the artist usedis 3 very small hearts. You can see them in the above photos.
The cuff is 1&1/16" wide. The cuff weighs 25 grams. It measures 6" from end to end on the inside with aseparate 1&1/4" gap. It can be adjusted slightly.
