Wood Carvings by Bruce - (International Shipping)
After 32 years of carving wood spirits, I’m still amazed at the hundreds of emotions the face can convey through a simple expression. Whether it be a Whimsical Wizard, Native American or a Grizzled Mountain Man, it is these emotions that I attempt to capture in each of my carvings.
Most of my wood spirits are carved from knots gathered in the rugged California Sierras where large Sugar Pine, Fir and Cedar trees grow and die. Once a tree has fallen and decomposed due to time and the elements, all that remains are the pitch filled knots that decompose at a much slower rate and are lying about on the forest floor.
Since becoming a seller on I have met so many wonderful folks.I would like to thank all ofmy customers that have made my experience on such a pleasure. I look forward to the coming year and to be able to bring all of you many newcarvings that you canenjoy.
