I purchased this beautiful doll directly from the award winning dollartist, Mary Benner, and she has never been removed from the box so she is brand new. She is a replica of an antique Bru Jne 14.
\"ANGELA\" has the following features:
1. Beautifully hand painted head, made of fine white porcelain and poured by hand from Mary Benner\'s own molds.
2. A large, chunky Bru composition body with label.
3. Beautiful, brown British paperweight eyes.
4. Gorgeous honey blond mohair wig, custom made by wig artist Wendy Fiedt.
5. Elaborate dress made of dark chocolate brown silk velvet and silk dupioni in an iridescent color of milk chocolate & violet. Antique lace & Italian silk lace adorns the front bodice of the dress, antique lace also graces the hem of the dress as well as the front of the bonnet. Delicate hand made silk buttons go down the back of the dress. The dress had a removable silk cummerbund with a large silk bow and silk bows at the shoulders.
6. The matching bonnet is made of the same silk fabric as the dress and is decorated with vintage hat flowers made of dark chocolate velvet, violet velvet rose and velvet flowers. The hat is also decorated with vintage hat netting, silk ribbons and a lovely hand beaded hat pin.
7. The undergarments on this doll features a cotton slip and pantaloons made of cotton and trimmed with imported lace, silk ribbons and embroidery flowers. Also this doll has a lovely corset & bustle pad made of silk satin and decorated with lace, silk ribbon, and embroidery flowers with gold eyelets going down both sides of the back and ribbon ties.
8. The shoes on this doll are leather with silk overlay and variegated silk ribbon rosettes.
9. The doll is wearing hand made crochet stocking and she also has hand made crochet gloves.
10. Other accessories with this doll include a lovely replica of a vintage topaz & rhinestone necklace, real vintage earrings, a beaded hat pin and beaded velvet silk purse.
11. This lovely replica comes with a tapestry stand and is hand signed by the artist.
She also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
