Allow me to introduce Mrs. Edie Bunny ... wife of the famed Easter Bunny himself.Thisharied haremeasures approximately 21". She's been working ~ day and night ~ dyeing eggs and preparing Easter baskets for her dear hubby!
Ediewears a blue homespunfrockwhich is embellished withvintage bluerick-rack and a vintageblue button.The dress features an apron which was fashioned from a vintage embroidered linen doily!
Edieis made from coffee-stained osnaburg. She features lidded brown eyes, a stitched nose and whiskers.Edie sports a straw hat which is trimmed with vintage ribbons and a piece of netting. Edie must have forgotten about the little egg perched on her hat brim! It seems to have hatched a vintage chenille pink chick!!
Each of Edie's Easter baskets are stuffed with green excelsior and 3 paper mache eggs. The eggs have been painted and aged for timeworn appeal. The agedlabel on the vintage green bottle reads:*O'Hare's Easter Egg Dye*. The bottle is topped with a cork. I tied a scrap of vintage brown seam binding around the bottle's neck.
