...is excited to introduce a sweet Miniature & Lifelike Teacup Piglet...

"Candy"

It is my great pleasure to introduce my new little teacup pig to you! Her name is Candy.... her color makes me think of cotton candy and she is full of the sweetest personality.

Candy is a joy to photo graph! I'm so happy with how she turned out!

Candy is a one of a kind artist baby pig completely designed and hand sewn (no machine sewing) by me, Melisa Nichols. She is very detailed and as such she is her own unique individual and can not be duplicated ~ a true one of a kind. Many, many hours went into this piglet! I do not work with patterns - just from photos and drawings, so there is no pattern she can be remade from.

Candy is made from pink faux (synthetic) fur. I've added a touch of very light shading in gray and tan here and there. Candy stands at almost 4” tall. She is 4” long, not including her tail.

Candy's sweet and happy baby face is quite detailed. Her face has been scissor sculpted, thread sculpted and hand shaded. She has soulful glass eyes that I hand painted in dark gray. She also has open/close eyes: moveable eyelids that can be posed awake, sleepy or fast asleep. I created a cute and realistic epoxy clay snout for her. Because of all this detailed work, I will never be able to create another piggy just like Candy.

I created Candy's little hooves out of epoxy clay. I hand painted each little trotter and then sealed them to protect the paint.

Candy is completely hand sewn and filled with polyfil, pellets (in her tummy), and an extra portion of cuddles. She is armatured (including her tail) for lots of fun poses!

Candy will arrive in a special box with hang tags that include her birth date, a picture of her and a signed Certificate of Authenticity. The teacup is not included in the sale. Candy is a collectable baby piglet made for display only - not suitable for children due to small parts.

***SHIPPING*** ~ I am delighted to offer Candy with free surface shipping anywhere in the world. This includes up to $1000 insurance for most countries (Canada Post will not insure to all countries). Free shipping is by surface mail which usually takes 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to US destinations and 6 - 8 weeks to overseas destinations. Please contact me for a quote if you would like to use Xpresspost instead which takes about 3-5 days to US destinations and about 6 days to overseas destinations.

***LAYAWAY *** ~ 1/3 payment within 7 days, 1/3 - 30 days after, and the final third, 30 additional days after that. For sales over $1000 alternative layaway plans can be arranged.
