Most of you guys can figure this out or why wouldyou have classic cars and hotrods to begin with ifyou weren't good with tools, but there are the few out there who are mechanicaly challenged, so this is for you.

Ok here goes

You will need
A Phillips screwdriver, needle nose pliers, strapping cutters, and a six pack of BEER.
Look at the item taken apart or Pictures`WHILE HAVING A BEER
Bend the straps like I showed you(PICTURES) but leave the ends where the holes are until you figure out how thick your particular steering wheel is........
Remember it needs to be able to be tight to work so don't use a hole with play. (there's a joke there) A BEER

When you figure it out then bend the excess out of the way or cut off. HAVE ANOTHER BEER
(see picture for short strap) This size is for classic steering wheels of the 40s 50s and 60s
When you are done then position the straps like you see in the shot of them on the steering wheel only put the chrome bottom piece on the inside of the wheel so that when the wheel
goes around it won't hit your gut if you have one............ LOL HAVE ONE MORE BEER
Then holding the straps tight against the wheel slip the chrome bottom on the other side
of the wheel and line up the straps so you can see both the nut end and the other end making a hole through the hole that the bolt goes through. YOU CANT HAVE A BEER YET CAUSE YOU HAVE NO EXTRA HANDS DUMMY............
Then as quick as you can slip the bolts in the holes and screw and tighten as tight as you can.
YOU ARE NOW DONE
Now you have 2 beers left, either drink them right away OR
show your girlfriend the pretty suicide knob while getting her to chug the remaining beers..........errr
