Original 1945 Wwii Telegram Major Glassburn Pow Died Japanese Prison Camp For Sale
Up for offerare (2)vintage dated 1945 Argentina Telegrams sent to Colonel Robert Glassburn (active duty) informing him of the death of his son Major Robert D. Glassburn while being held at a Japanese Prison Camp. Major Glassburn was wounded and captured defending Corregidor and was held at the Cabanatuan Japanese POW camp. Major Glassburn was awarded the PH and the Silver Star. These vintage telegrams have some period folding and general wear with some light age toning.
