Original Harpers Ferry Model 1816 Percussion Conversion Full Length 42" Barrel For Sale
I got the remains of a cut down Harpers Ferry model 1816 that was an arsenal cone conversion to percussion as used in the Mexican American and Civil Wars, all that was there was the ramrod, barrel, lock and cut stock, here is the barrel and tang for sale, full 42" length, bayonet/sight stud near the muzzle, overall a dark brown patina with pitting on the breach area around the nipple but the proofs V P eagle head are still visible as is the partial date on the tang, small patch of soldier on the barrel bottom near the muzzle for a rod thimble-use for your restoration or get it all and restore this gun-it is worthy to put back as it was used in the Civil War.
