Original Indian Wars M1881 U.S. Cavalry Holster for 7 1/2\" barrel ColtCavalry SAAand S&W Schofield. This is an early example with the small belt loop for use on the leather belt. Much scarcer than the later large loop holsters for the woven belts. Clear\"US\"on front. Has faint inspector\'s initialson the corner of the flap. Shows expected use and age but is intactand has the original toe plug. Has surface crazing, but is not hardened.
