Description: 19th Century GEORGE HUNZINGER

GAMING TABLE

Date: June 26, 1894 (Metal Plate on bottom of table)
Type: Flip top reversible
Exhibits: Brooklyn Museum: The Furniture of George Hunzinger
Wood: Quarter Sawn Oak
Dimensions: 28 1/2\" tall / top - 30\" wide
Glass: Was not original, but we had made to preserve top (included) 30\" diameter ... approximately 3/16\" thick

We have owned this table for a number of years. The first time I saw it displayed elsewhere was on the Antique Roadshow. We have enjoyed it and it is solidly made. The felt side could be attached better or could be replaced with whatever you would prefer. The latch under the top when pressed allows the top to be pivoted to display the reverse side. This style fits any decor and shows beautifully.
