Original WW1 U.S. Second model type 1910 scabbard circa 1912 or 1913 when this model was rolled out, changes being heavier 0.140 wire double hook, brass tube in hanger eliminated, body is woven as a tube, instead of sewn up the side, hanger is shortened to 2 1/8 inch long, leather tip is made of two pieces, sewn all the way around. The small rivet in the middle of the hanger was done at unit level to keep the body from slipping out of the cover.Woven tube is a khaki brown color, the drain grommet is missing, Overall scabbard is in very good condition, see pics-Thanks for looking- Payment Paypal to confirmed address only.
