This patch is off the jacket of a (nameless) A-6 Intruder pilot who had over 5000+ hours in the Intruder, and over 987 carrier landings (traps) on different carriers. This AMERICAN HERO wants this patch from 1962, his A-4 Skyhawk days, to find the right home, whether a museum or a collection. This amazingly rare, historic, and ORIGINAL CARRIER AIR GROUP (CAG)-8 patch is just that. It is 4.45\" high, has no backing on the lower part (see picture) and is well-worn, as it was on his flight jacket, so no telling how many stories this patch could tell. It\'s a one-of-a-kind.....I\'ve never seen it before either.
