Orvis Fullflex Midge 2 Piece Fiberglass Fly Rod 7 1/2' 5 Wt For Sale
The Orvis Fullflex Midge is a classic fiberglass fly rod, with Orvis Fullflex slow action for delicate fishing in small streams. The rod is 2 piece, 7 1/2' 5 weight with metal ferrules which I believe were only cataloged on this rod in 1968. The blank is Phillipson. This rod has many stories to tell as it has been well used and is in need ofrestoration, as can be seen in the pictures. The cork handle is split. Two of the guides have been taped in place and all are in need of rewrapping. It appears all guides and other parts are original and the ferrules fit snugly and well so when restored this would make a wonderful rod to fish. The rod comes in a tube which I believe is original, but there is noendcap. Please see pictures for condition and feel free to ask questions.
