This is a rarely seen Ottoman Turkish Greekvest comming from the early 19th century. (1820-1840) Fits asmall size woman or a child but mostly a museum ! Dark red velvet and oxidised very nice gold thread. Heavy garment for the size ,with rich gold thread decoration in high relief . Condition as seen ,almost perfect for its age. Aprx. Dimensions :45x45cm. Very beutifull antique item for a Turkish Greek islamic collection. One of the best I have seen so far.
