Outstanding Vintage Sterling Navajo Lone Mountain Turquoise Bracelet Cuff For Sale
This vintage bracelet is an outstanding creation of an unknown extremely talented Navajo silversmith. It is the kind of bracelet that makes people who see it open their eyes and mouths in awe at the beauty and workmanship that went into making this show piece.
It features a large free form cabochon of Lone Mountain turquoise. It measures 1 1/4" x 1" (measured at the widest part). There are two other cabochons with one measuring 9/16" x 7/16" and the other 9/16" x 1/2", and they are all set in plain silver bezels. In addition to the gorgeous stones, there are two large hand wrought Peyote Birds that are done in such amazing detail and contain the two smaller stones. They are set against a dark oxidized background. The border is made up of a heavy deep hand stamped design with a braid running through the middle of the top border.
It weighs an astonishing 161 GRAMS or 5.68 OZS. and is 2 1/4" wide. The inside of the bracelet measures 6", NOT including the 1 1/4" gap or opening. It is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks orchips on the stones and no dents in the silver.
There are no markings of any kind as to who made this beautiful bracelet, as is typical with earlier pieces. It is guaranteed to be Sterling. Thank you and I wish you good luck in offerding!
