Zanesville Pottery No 0 Yellow Jardiniere/Planter

We are pleased to offer this lovely unmarked No 0 jardiniere manufactured by the Zanesville Pottery & Stoneware Company of Zanesville, Ohio, USA circa 1930s. A green6\" planter ($75.00-100.00) is pictured on page 45 of the \"Zanesville Stoneware Company: Identification & Value Guide\" by Jon Rans, Glenn Ralston and Nate Russell\'s with another picture from a catalog on page 163. It is glazed in a bright yellow color with organic leaves that look a bit like vertical melon ribs rising up the body of the planter with a leaf defining the four feet. It stands 4-3/4\" tall and measures 5-3/8\" across the round opening and 3-1/2\" across the square bottom. This jardiniere was made in eight different sizes starting at 4\" up to 12\" tall. Other than a few little typical pin pops and one teeny dot size nick on the rim (extremely minor), it is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks.
