Old 1845 Mourning Chapbook "recollections Of Elizabeth" American Tract Society:
This appears to be a mourning essay written in remembrance of a 9 year old girl named Elizabeth. I think this would be considered a chapbook. It is 16 pages excluding the brown cover. It is very old, fragile, and worn. The brown cover is torn apart at the binding but the pages are sewn together held by a string, that looks original. There are pin markings on the front and back covers because when it ripped apart a long time ago someone thought that was a way to "fix" it. I removed the pins and flattened it but did not try to repair the cover. It measures 3 inches x 4 1/2 inches closed. There are 4 drawings. Free shipping.
