Old Antique Vintage Navajo Turquoise Pendant Sacred Mountain Smiths
This Old Antique Vintage Navajo Turquoise Pendant came from Sacred Mountain Smiths. This stunning teardrop shaped pendant was created by one of the artisans atSacred Mountain Silversmiths back in the 1960\'s & 70\'s. The stone measures24 mm tall by 18 mm wide. The complete setting is 2 1/2\" tall by 1 1/2\" wide.
The background of the silver setting has been purposely antiqued to make it a nice dark contrast to the bright silver bezel with expert stamping designs that goes around the gorgeous untreated turquoise blue stone. It is stamped on the back with the mark for Sacred Mountain Smiths. The pendant will accommodatea 2 mm size chain.
We have had the fortune over the years of being able to purchaseauthentic vintage Native American made jewelryfrom the estates of three different Native American jewelry salesmen that operated in the southwest during the 1950\'s and 1960\'s and \'70\'s. This pendant came from the estate of the owner of the now defunctSacred Mountain Smithsof Flagstaff and Sedona, Arizona. They were an association of Native American artists, primarily Navajo. Although this pendant is almost50years old, it was never sold to anyone.
