Please carefully examine photos as they are the biggest partof the description. It\'s in the condition I received it. Ask questions or morephotos before offer. I prefer informed Buyer. Cracks on top plate, dents patina,wear. There are 2 cracks on the ribs: by the neck ~ 2 cm and lower bout ~ 5 cm. No visible cracks on the back. Varnish seems to be original. There is a crack under fingerboard: as for additional photo since I can post 12 photos only. Grafted neck; see photo 6. This violin has lots of charm and character. It could besome issues that I am not aware of please ask for photos if any need to seespecific area. I am a collector not a luthier. Very nice old violin. Please bear in mind that this is a violin forrestorers or luthiers who have the ability to work on it. Once repaired it willbe a nice instrument. Scroll is superbly carved! Always seek advice fromprofessional luthier when purchasing antique violin.I bought it in Hungary. Undisclosed provenance.
