Old Early Antique Vintage German Christmas Ornament Mermaid 1890s For Sale
Offered for sale an EARLY ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GERMAN Christmas ORNAMENT of a MERMAID from the early 1900's. This very RARE feather tree ornament is quite early since it contains no silvering and has a flat painted finish. The ornament is blown into the form of a mermaid and measures 4 inches long by about 3 inches tall. The ornament has its original hanging cord still attached. The painted finish is 95% still intact. There is a chip that extends out from underneath the metal cap as can be seen in the one photo. There are no other chips or cracks to the ornament. A super early ornament to grace the branches of your feather tree this upcoming holiday season.
