Old Japanese Satsuma Vase Florals Gilt with Figural Foo Dogs:

Attractive old Japanese Satsuma vase, nicely decorated with contrasting florals on either side. Small figural foo dogs are on guard at the top of the vase. Quite well done. I have been unable to identify the mark on the bottom, or any approximate age of the piece. I believe it may be antique but cannot be certain of this, you will have to make your own determination, it may just be vintage in age.
There is some wear to the design elements around the top of the lip and around the base; one foo dog has upper part of its face broken off. The other foo dog looks to have some small damage to the tip of its tail. Size is approximately 12 inches tall, by 6 inches diameter at the widest (30.5 cm tall by 15.25 diameter.)
