Old Pawn Native American Hatband Turquoise Sterling Silver Vintage Handmade:

Spectacular find Native American black leather hatband 27 1/2\" long
1/2\" wide featuring 16 beautiful greenish turquoise stones with black matrix
7/16\" long by 3/8\" in diameter situated between sterling silver spacer beads
and 1/8\" in diameter sterling silver beads via silver wire skillfully sewn into the
leather band which has expertly hand crafted tribal stitching on reverse side,
set off by a 3/4\" round sterling center piece with a turtle design. Amazing design
here as the center piece screws in any of the three holes for size 200.00t.
(Please see last photo). This piece appears to have been stored for years due
to it superior condition for its age. Good vintage condition with soft patina on the
center piece, dark patina on sterling beads. We picked this up at an estate sale
years ago. Have search diligently for a hatband similar in design, quality material,
age and craftsmanship,have not found anything to come close to this rare and
special piece. Truly excellent find for collectors or special gift for the extraordinary
person, or for personal enjoyment. Circa 50\'s.
