We do estates for clients and this Beautiful Bulova Ladies 19kt. Gold filled Watchcame from one. The case opens easily and the watch body comes out easily also.
See pictures for all the details. I tried to gently turn the stem, but it did not move easily so I left it alone. There does seem to be some brown darkening to the stem itself, but it was hard to see without strong light. It is engraved on the back with intials and 1923; in researching it, this design was shown in l a list of watches from 1923, so I guess that confrms it. The metal is silver in color, despite some of the pics looking goldish.
