You are offerding on an antique Spanish or Italian hunting knife. It is probably a late 18th century early 19th century knife. I think it is rather a Spanish knife due to the use of brass that was more fashionable in Spain. It could be a colonial piece as it looks a lot like a Gaucho knife note the file work on the spine and the bolster area. It is a large piece 14 inches long. It comes with the original sheath. The tip was rounded in the past. Note the chiseled handle. Nice piece. and have fun... and offer high:-)
