Vintage Olds 2 trumpet mouthpiece
This is an Olds trumpet mouthpiece from the 1930\'s or 40\'s that has had a hard life. There are a number of marks all over the outside. The rim is smooth, but there is a patch of bare brass. This should only be considered as an inexpensive way to try out this vintage style of Olds mouthpiece. The rim should be replated before use. The \"2\" is visable and you can faintly see the art-deco lettering \"OLDS\" just above the 2. The 1941 Olds Catalog describes this as follows:
No. 2 - Extra wide cushion rim with medium width and depth of cup. Long hours are easy for this one, and \"hot\" players prefer it greatly.
