\"Alicia\"
Handmade Soft Cloth African AmericanTeen Doll
Art Doll 20 1/2” OOAK Collectible
purchased at doll sale to benefit
the Booth House Women\'s Shelter in Schenectady, NY
The sale was in Oct 2011
Alicia was crafted by
Hoopie (Phyllis?) Wanamaker of Henderson, Nevada
Alicia is dressed for summer fun in her pretty floral cotton outfit. I made her new leather shoes, as hers went missing in her travels. I also gave her a bracelet and made her new lace-trimmed panties.
Alicia appeared in the November 2008 issue of Soft Dolls & Animals magazine, which is included in this offering. So is the program from the sale, as these all tell Alicia\'s well traveled story.
I, for one, learn so much from the close inspection of other doll artists\' work, which is why I bought her.Alicia taught me a lot! Now she needs to travel on!
Ouritems are all from a smoke-free, but cat-friendly home,(not allowed in studio!)>^..^<Thanks for looking! We are notaffiliated with any doll companies or manufacturers, nor are we authorized dealers.We\'re just slightly obsessed fans, who sew, dress, undress, cobble, repair, repaintand otherwise trifle withdolls and their accoutrements. We hunt for the unique, the strays, the overlooked, and gather them to us. Then, we let them tell us where they want to go next.Your turn to hunt and gather. Hopefully, one of ours! Please see our store
