This wonderful chest is in "as found" condition, with the original wood effect paintwork and has a wonderful depth of colour and patina the only comes with age and use.

The lid is well attached and its two carrying handles are sturdy and secure. Nice to find with the brass lock still intact and with its key!

There are the usual scuffs, marks and that you would expect from years of use, the interior is painted a dark green and is in good order without holes. Any marks just adds to its' character and charm. I personally love all these signs of use and history.

It measures 50 cm (19 1/2 inches) long. It is 31 cm (12. inches) wide and it is 35 cm (14 inches) high.

A fabulous vintage piece with history that could still be used today, it would make a great small coffee table with storage!
