For your consideration is an original early 1817 Deringer common rifle lock and stock with some hardware. There is the original buttplate and patch box. The trigger guard, included, is from another common rifle but should fit with little modification. The stock is sporterized/ shortened from original length. It has minor defects, minor cracks and small slivers of missing wood. Perfect for a restoration project. Please see photos for details. Metal parts on stock have patina, light pitting and surface rust. The interior of the lockplate has pits. The lock parts are free moving and the screws operate as they should. No hammer or plate screws. What you see is what you get.
