Up for sale is an original old 1864 Civil war musket, partial stock with the hardware. Wood is walnut. The hardware includes the plate lock and lock, trigger and trigger guard, and butt plate. The lock plate is stamped "US", with an Eagle between the U and S. Underneath that it is stamped "Providence Tool Co., Providence, R.I.". At left far left side of the lock plate it is stamped "1864". As you can see from last 2 photos, the spring from the lock is missing. The trigger guard is stamped with a "W". Stock is in surprisingly nice condition, considering age!
